Our Policies & Commitments

 At The Bubbly Hub, the safety, wellbeing, and happiness of our participants and families come first.
We follow all legal requirements and best-practice standards to make sure every person feels safe, respected, and supported. 

Restrictive Practices Policy

The Bubbly Hub is committed to safeguarding the rights, dignity, and wellbeing of all participants. We aim to prevent, reduce, and eliminate restrictive practices through proactive supports and child-safe environments. Restrictive practices are only considered as a last resort, in the least restrictive way, for the shortest time necessary, and always in line with NDIS and WA Disability Services policies.

Safeguarding Policy

The Bubbly Hub exists to create safe, fun, and inclusive spaces where young people and their families can connect, belong, and thrive. Safeguarding is central to this mission. We are committed to protecting children, young people, and adults at risk from harm, abuse, neglect, or exploitation, and to fostering a culture of trust, respect, and empowerment.

Complaints & Feedback Policy

The purpose of this policy is to ensure that The Bubbly Hub provides clear, accessible, and fair processes for participants, families, carers, staff, and community members to provide feedback or make complaints. Handling complaints effectively ensures compliance with the NDIS Practice Standards and Western Australian legislation, while driving continuous improvement in our services.

Money Handling Policy

To ensure that any handling of participant money is done ethically, transparently, and securely respecting participant choice, minimising risk of misuse, error, or financial abuse, and complying with NDIS Practice Standards and WA legislation.

Exit & Transition Policy

The Bubbly Hub is committed to providing safe, supportive, and inclusive services. This Exit & Transition Policy outlines how we manage situations when a participant decides to leave, transitions to another service, or when The Bubbly Hub needs to end supports.  

Staff Compliance & Conduct Policy

This policy outlines the expected standards of professional conduct for all staff, contractors, and volunteers at The Bubbly Hub. It ensures our workplace is safe, respectful, and consistent with the NDIS Code of Conduct and WA community service standards.

Participant Rights & Responsibilities Policy

The Bubbly Hub is committed to upholding the rights of all participants and their families while also ensuring the rights of The Bubbly Hub as a service provider are respected. This policy ensures services are delivered in line with the NDIS Code of Conduct and WA community service standards.

Social Media & Photography Policy

This policy ensures that all use of photography, video, and social media at The Bubbly Hub respects the rights, dignity, and privacy of participants and aligns with NDIS Practice Standards.

Medication & Medical Management Policy

This policy ensures that medication and medical support are managed safely, responsibly, and in line with participant needs, NDIS requirements, and WA health regulations. It protects the safety, dignity, and rights of participants while minimising risks to staff and families.

Emergency & Venue Safety Policy

This policy provides clear guidance on emergency preparedness, response, and venue safety for all activities at The Bubbly Hub, located at Ranford Pavillion, Perth WA 6155. It ensures the safety of participants, staff, volunteers, and visitors, and complies with WA legislation and NDIS Practice Standards.

Child Safety Policy

The Bubbly Hub is committed to ensuring that children  are safe, respected, and protected while participating in our programs. This policy outlines our commitment and actions to prevent abuse, neglect, or harm, and to support transparency, accountability, and child-friendly practice in line with the NDIS Quality  

Code of Conduct

The purpose of this Code of Conduct is to ensure that all staff, contractors, and volunteers at The Bubbly Hub uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and respect when providing supports to participants and families.
It complements the NDIS Code of Conduct (NDIS Commission) and WA child and disability safety standards.

Health, Safety & Wellbeing Policy

The Bubbly Hub is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all participants, staff, volunteers, and visitors. This policy outlines our approach to health, safety, and wellbeing in compliance with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission standards, WA legislation, and sector best practice.

Inclusion & Diversity Policy

  

The Bubbly Hub is built on the belief that everyone deserves to feel safe, valued, and connected. This policy outlines our commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse community where participants, families, staff, and volunteers feel respected and supported, regardless of background, ability, or identity.

Staff & Volunteer Training Policy

The Bubbly Hub is committed to ensuring all staff and volunteers are trained, competent, and confident in supporting participants safely and respectfully. This policy sets out requirements for induction, ongoing training, and professional development.

Privacy, Dignity & Confidentiality Policy

The Bubbly Hub is committed to protecting the privacy, dignity, and confidentiality of all participants, families, staff, and volunteers. This policy ensures compliance with the NDIS Act 2013, NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission Practice Standards, and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), as well as WA community sector expectations.

Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Policy

The purpose of this policy is to ensure that The Bubbly Hub provides safe, supportive, and inclusive services that promote positive behaviour, reduce risks, and uphold the dignity and rights of participants. This policy aligns with the NDIS Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework, the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, and WA safeguarding expectations.

Infection Control & COVID-Safe Policy

The purpose of this policy is to protect the health and wellbeing of participants, families, staff, volunteers, and the community by minimising the risk of infection, including COVID-19, through safe and effective infection control practices.
